FredFloris leather products are MTO, we only keep stock of the raw material to make the products.

We usually make your products within three weeks after placing an order. The time depends on our waiting list. Please see the current waiting time at the top of the page.

Most of FredFloris leather products are customizable making each item susceptible to small variations compared to one another, yet entirely unique and personalized to the customer.

While we do our best to accommodate to every request, there is a limit on how many items we can produce yearly. This is because FredFloris only use the highest quality leather, this type of leather has a yearly production limit. As long as we have the raw material in stock, you will be able to purchase the product from our page.

NOTE

The leather we use at FredFloris are biodegradable and tanned using natural ingredients. We only use leather created from the by-products of the meat industry and vegetable tanned in Sweden and Italy.

Because we use uncorrected full-grain leather, each product may contain beauty marks. The colour of the leather will also vary between hides and within the same hide, this is especially true for waxed leather. We believe that this adds to the character of the product and makes every product truly unique. Depending on your computer screen settings, the colour of an item may differ from reality.

Our leathergoods do not contain any harmful chemicals.

ARTISAN COMMENTARY

The leather to make this slim leather wallet is provided by the Italian tannery, Badalassi Carlo, that is a part of the internationally recognized Pelle Conciata al Vegetale consortium.

Created from a vegetable tanned full-grain leather, the parts are cut from the hide and the three parts are sewn together with high-quality waxed polyester thread using a traditional saddle maker stitching technique. This method of stitching ensures the durability of the wallet especially under heavy stress and strain. The edges are rounded, sanded, and then coloured by hand using several layers of edge paint. The edge is painted with great precision to ensure the preservability of the grain of the leather.
